Color photograph taken at high tide of the ornithological reserve and islet of Tatihou Island. The Norman Ornithological Group manages the important avifauna presence on Tatihou Island where over 150 different species, breeding, migratory or occasional visitors can been seen throughout the year. From April to July, breeding birds such as herring gulls, cormorants and eider ducks are present. In the summer and fall, sandwich terns fish the edge of the island and in winter, other species such as geese, grebes, little penguins and sea pipits are nesting.
